RAN
RAN designs the radio itself. One work item, FS_6G_Radio, splits across four working groups and produces five reports. All four groups co-locate, all four have the same deadline, and none of them concludes before 4 June 2027.

Why this matters
All four radio groups co-locate — same weeks, same cities. RAN2 runs nine meeting-numbers ahead of RAN1, RAN3 seven ahead, RAN4 six behind. Five meetings remain for each group before FS_6G_Radio closes on 4 June 2027, and all four final meetings end 28 May 2027, one week before the deadline. An identical budget for a physical layer, a protocol stack, an architecture and an RF requirement set.
